SYNER (Visions)
A young woman struggles with overwhelming social anxiety as she moves through everyday situations in a busy city. What begins as ordinary encounters gradually transforms into surreal and disturbing visions: strangers stare relentlessly, disembodied heads pursue her, crowds mock her, and even a theater performance seems to turn against her.
As the boundary between reality and imagination dissolves, the woman is forced to confront the harsh inner voice that shapes her perception of the world. In a darkly humorous and surreal climax, she discovers the source of her torment and attempts to rid herself of it—only to find that some fears are harder to escape than they appear.
SYNER is a psychological short film that explores anxiety, self-consciousness, and the distorted realities created by the mind.
